Dismissal of a Student Teacher. The supervising employee may dismiss a student teacher in concert with the District and the college/university. Prior to dismissal, the supervising employee shall provide explanation to the building principal, the college supervisor, and the student teacher involved.

Dismissal of a Student Teacher. The supervising employee may dismiss a student teacher in concert with the District and the college/university. The employee will follow the cooperating University’s policies for dismissal of the student teacher with the support of the building principal, or designee, and district administration. Prior to dismissal, the supervising employee shall provide explanation to the building principal, the college supervisor, and the student teacher involved. Dismissal of a student teacher will not preclude the employee from supervising student teachers in the future.
