Evaluation Results. A. Evaluation results shall be used:
1. To acknowledge, recognize, and encourage excellence in professional performance.
2. To document the level of performance by a teacher of his/her assigned duties.
3. To identify specific areas in which the teacher may need improvement according to the criteria included on the evaluation instrument.
4. To document performance by a teacher judged unsatisfactory based on the district evaluation

Evaluation Results. 1. Evaluation results shall be used: To promote reflection on professional practice and facilitate continued professional growth. To document the level of performance by a teacher of his/her assigned duties. To identify specific areas in which the teacher may need improvement according to the criteria included on the evaluation instrument. To document performance by a teacher judged unsatisfactory based on the Sate evaluation criteria.
2. Evaluation results shall not be: Shared or published with any teacher identifying information. Shared or published without notification to the individual and Association. Used to determine any type of base or additional compensation. Used as part of any disciplinary process.
Evaluation Results. The supervisor shall forward the evaluation form to the Unit member for his or her comment. If the Unit member declines to comment, or fails to comment within five (5) working days of the date on which the supervisor sent the form to the Unit member, the supervisor shall forward the completed evaluation file (including the evaluation plan, the evaluation form, and any other relevant documents) to the appropriate Vice President or his or her designee. Based solely on the evaluation form and the accompanying materials in the evaluation file the Vice President shall either:
1. Accept the supervisor’s recommendation regarding the overall evaluation of the Unit member’s performance as being satisfactory or unsatisfactory (and, if satisfactory, whether it meets or exceeds overall expectations); or
2. Return the evaluation to the supervisor with a written explanation of the reasons he or she declined to accept the evaluation, and comment regarding proposed steps the supervisor should take to remedy the problems he or she perceived.
3. Once completed by the Vice President, the evaluation form and the accompanying materials in the evaluation file shall become part of the Unit member’s personnel file.
Evaluation Results. 11.4.1 GAs shall be notified no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to an employment evaluation meeting during which the GA's evaluation will be presented and discussed.

5. As one of multiple factors in Human Resources and personnel decisions only as defined elsewhere in this agreement.

3. Used to determine any type of base or additional compensation.
C. Evaluators shall not consider school or District-wide scores when evaluating individual scores, i.e. nothing prohibits an evaluator from evaluating all teachers as Distinguished within a school.
Evaluation Results. Evaluation results shall be used:
Evaluation Results. 1. In the case that a member disagrees with content of an evaluation, the member will have the right to the following appeals process:
a. The member will have the right to a meeting with the evaluator in order to present additional evidence or information. The additional evidence or information may be presented in written, visual and/or spoken format. This additional evidence and information will be considered by the evaluator and used to amend the evaluation and the evaluation rating.
b. If the evaluator decides against amending the evaluation and evaluation rating, the member will have the right to make a written response to the evaluation and to have it attached to the evaluation report to be placed in the member’s personnel file. A copy, signed by both parties, will be provided to the teacher.
2. Members will have up to ten (10) contract days after an evaluation meeting with the evaluator to submit written responses for inclusion in their personnel files related to any of the following four (4) portions of their evaluation:
a. The formal write-up shared by the evaluator after the first observation cycle;
b. The formal write-up shared by the evaluator after the second observation cycle;
c. The formal write-up shared by the evaluator after the optional third observation cycle;
d. The final summative evaluation, which includes the level of student growth, the final summative rating of teacher performance and the summative evaluation rating.
3. When a member enters their digital “pin” into the electronic evaluation system and/or physically signs any portion of their evaluation, it is an acknowledgement of the member’s receipt of the evaluation materials. It is NOT an acknowledgement of agreement with the evaluation’s contents and/or rating, nor is it a statement regarding the accuracy of the evaluation’s contents and/or rating.

3. to identify specific areas in which the teacher may need improvement according to the criteria included on the evaluation instrument.
4. to document performance by a teacher judged unsatisfactory based on the District evaluation criteria.
5. and must be used, beginning in 2015-16, as one of the multiple factors in making human resource and personnel decisions, only as defined elsewhere in this Agreement.
B. Evaluation results shall not be:
1. Shared or published with any teacher-identifying information.
2. Shared or published without notification to the individual and Association for their approval to release or act to block such publication (if the release is required by law).
3. Used to determine any type of base or additional compensation.
