Common use of Displacement Rights Clause in Contracts

Displacement Rights. a) It is agreed that an employee who holds seniority in a classification other than the one from which he is being laid- off may exercise that seniority, should it be sufficient, to apply to bump the most junior employee in other classification in accordance with Article 12.02.
