Common use of Distant Traveler Premium Clause in Contracts

Distant Traveler Premium. The company will pay a premium differential of $50 for the shift if an employee is required to drive greater than 100 miles total from the employee’s home clinic to complete the shift. The time for the commute will not be counted as hours worked for any purpose. This does not modify any other portion of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
