Upon assignment by the Fire Chief to the duty responsibility of Division Chief, Battalion Chief or the Fire Marshal, employee shall be entitled to special assignment pay in the amount of ten percent (10%) of base salary for a forty (40) hour employee biweekly for the period of the assignment.
