Common use of Documentation of Proposed Participation Clause in Contracts

Documentation of Proposed Participation. Contractor shall document sufficient DBE participation to meet an assigned Contract goal or, alternatively, document adequate good faith efforts to do so (see 49 CFR § 26.53). All work committed to a DBE firm toward meeting the assigned participation goal must be performed under a written subcontract. Committed DBE Breakdown and Certification Form(s)-AE. Required for all Contracts with assigned goals and completed prior to Contract execution and any proposed substitution.
