Documentation of unbroken chain of agreements. The grid and distribution company must ensure that there is documentation of an unbroken chain of agreements from a grid and distribution company to the end user(s) at which the saving was implemented, see annex 3. The agreement must ensure that the customer is aware that the right to report the savings, directly or via the player acting on their behalf, is passed on to a grid and distribution company, and thus cannot be transferred to others. There must be an unbroken chain of agreements from the end user to a grid or distribution company prior to commencement of the realisation of the saving. The requirement for such an agreement is detailed in annex 3.
