QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS BID PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS: - In an effort to help promote social distancing measures during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, electronic submissions will be accepted by the County. - Firms are strongly encouraged to submit responses electronically. Although the County may request the submission of a minimum number of contracts similar to the requirements of this solicitation with certain minimum dimensions, quantities, dollar values, etc., the County’s determination of a bidder’s responsibility shall not be solely based on the number of similar procurements the bidder provides but the entirety of the bidder’s qualifications. Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.
Qualification of the Bidder 4.1 All bidders shall provide in Section 2, Forms of Bid and Qualification Information, a preliminary description of the proposed work method and schedule, including drawings and charts, as necessary.
Staff Qualifications a) CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3064 and 3065.
Driver Qualifications All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of collection vehicles, and must have in effect a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Contractor shall use the Class II California Department of Motor Vehicles employer “Pull Notice Program” to monitor its drivers for safety.
Personnel Qualifications Contractor shall assign properly qualified and experienced personnel to the program contemplated under this Agreement, and Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to retain such personnel on Customer’s program for the duration of such program.

Promotions Requiring Higher Qualifications Consideration for promotion shall be given to the senior applicant who does not possess the required qualifications but is presently obtaining such qualifications prior to filling the vacancy. At the discretion of the Employer, such an employee may be given a trial period to qualify within a reasonable length of time and will revert to her former position if the required qualifications are not met within such time.
