Common use of Domestic and Sexual Violence Leave Clause in Contracts

Domestic and Sexual Violence Leave. Employees experiencing domestic or sexual violence (as defined in the Employment Standards Act – Interpretation Manual) or whose dependent has experienced domestic or sexual violence, are entitled to up to ten (10) days unpaid leave, and up to fifteen (15) weeks of unpaid leave.

Domestic and Sexual Violence Leave. Employees experiencing domestic or sexual violence (as defined in In accordance with the Employment Standards Act – Interpretation Manual) Act, when an employee, or whose dependent has experienced an eligible person with respect to an employee, experiences domestic or sexual violence, are the employee is entitled upon request, during each calendar year, to: (a) Up to up five (5) days of leave with pay; and, (b) Up to ten an additional five (105) days unpaid leave, and in units of one or more days or for one continuous period; and, (c) In addition to the above period of time, up to fifteen (15) weeks of unpaid leave.
