Common use of Double Core Assignations Clause in Contracts

Double Core Assignations. 8.12.1.1 Before assigning any inexperienced middle school teachers to a double core, the site administrator will consider the following factors: experience and teaching competencies; teachers who volunteer for assignment; ability to assign a “buddy teacher”; ability to assign common prep time for a team or buddy teacher. 8.12.1.2 Upon request, the administrator will provide a written description of the application of the above criteria. 8.12.1.3 Double cores shall be assigned at the same grade levels unless requested otherwise by the teacher. 8.12.1.4 Teachers who are assigned to a double core shall be assigned fewer non- -classroom duties.
