Dual Coverage. In situations where a bargaining unit member’s spouse is a full-time employee of the County, said employees shall decide which employee receives “primary” coverage and which employee receives “dependent” coverage. Failure by the employee(s) to make a selection within 30 days shall result in the automatic designation of the more senior employee as “primary.” A bargaining unit member who receives either “primary” or “dependent” coverage from the County shall not be eligible for any payment in lieu of coverage.
