Dual-Media Software Clause Samples

The Dual-Media Software clause defines the terms under which software provided on multiple types of media—such as both a physical disc and a digital download—is licensed to the user. Typically, this clause clarifies that although the software may be delivered in more than one format, the user is only permitted to use one copy at a time, regardless of the medium. This ensures that the license is not exceeded simply because the software is available in multiple forms, thereby preventing unauthorized duplication and use.
