Common use of Ductwork Clause in Contracts

Ductwork. COVERED: Accessible Ductwork from Cooling and/or Heating Unit to Point of Attachment to Registers or Grills. NOT COVERED: Insulation; asbestos covered ductwork; registers; grills; dampers; improperly sized ductwork; diagnostic testing of, or locating leaks to ductwork, including as required by any law, regulation, ordinance or code or when required due to the installation or replacement of system equipment; ductwork outside the perimeter of the home or crawl space; collapsed or crushed ductwork; ductwork damaged by moisture or rodents. We will only repair unobstructed and accessible ductwork. Obstructions include, without limitation, walls, floors, ceilings, built-in appliances, systems, and cabinets.
