Duration of Assistance. The duration of the assistance is determined by the individual need of each eligible borrower up to the maximum household limit. The homeowner may continue receiving assistance for up to 2 months after reemployment as long as the program household limit has not been reached. Assistance will be paid directly to the existing servicer, municipality, association, insurer or lien holder and may be distributed in a lump sum or on a monthly basis until the maximum program amount is reached.
