Duties and Responsibilities of Downtown South. 1. Staff. Downtown South shall employ paid professional staff, including a director, who will be responsible for its day-to-day administration. The City’s Coordinator will participate in the hiring process of the director of Downtown South in a consulting and advisory capacity. The director of Downtown South must be paid for a minimum of 40 hours per week. No third party contracts for management services will be permitted. In the event the director’s position is vacated during the term of this Agreement, Downtown South agrees to fill the position with assistance and participation from the City’s Coordinator within one hundred twenty (120) days of the date of vacancy. Downtown South shall also provide access to the Internet and email for all of its staff members.
