Early Departure or Late Arrival. For emergency related reasons, following the activation of the County's COOP, an appointing authority: (1) may order eligible employees, who are currently working, to leave their normal work location before the scheduled end of their assigned work shift, or (2) may order eligible employees, who are not currently working, to arrive at their normal work location later than the scheduled beginning of their assigned work shift. Eligible employees who are ordered to leave early or arrive late pursuant to this subsection shall be paid for their scheduled hours not worked as provided in this agreement.

Early Departure or Late Arrival. Employees, with the permission of their supervisor, may be allowed an early departure or a late arrival at work to attend medical, dental and legal appointments. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. Late arrival is intended to be not more than one (1) hour after the normal starting time, and early departure is intended to be not more than one (1) hour before the normal quitting time. Employees may also arrange for appointments to be in the one (1) hour preceding or following their lunch break. In the event that an appointment has been delayed beyond the control of the employee, the employee shall notify their supervisor as soon as they are reasonably able to do so and the entire time will be accounted for under 16.08.

  • Licence to Occupy Premises A5.1 Any land or Premises made available to the Contractor by the Authority in connection with the Contract, shall be made available to the Contractor on a non-exclusive licence basis free of charge and shall be used by the Contractor solely for the purpose of performing its obligations under the Contract. The Contractor shall have the use of such land or Premises as licensee and shall vacate the same on completion, termination or abandonment of the Contract.

  • Date of Commencement This Agreement has commenced and shall be deemed to have commenced on and with effect from the date mentioned at the beginning of this Agreement.

  • TIME OF COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION 2.1 The Contractor shall commence the Work upon the date established in the Notice to Proceed.

  • Abandonment of Premises If the property becomes vacant during the term of this lease, and if at the time of the vacancy Tenant are in default in the payment of any installment of rent, then the rent for the entire term shall become at once due and payable and Landlord may proceed to collect rent for said entire premises, with or without process of law, to take possession thereof, to remove any and all property there from and store as required by law, to lease the premises as agent of Tenant, and to apply the proceeds received from such letting toward the payment of Tenant' rent under this lease; such re-entry and re-letting shall not discharge Tenant from liability for rent, nor from any other obligation under the terms of this lease.
