EDPlan Docume nt Language Translation. PCG's integrated language translations feature allows users to instantly create translated documents within seconds using Google's proprietary API. Terms below only apply to the Translations Feature. The language translation feature will translate EDPlan documents. The languages that will be translated for the life of the contract will be English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, Portuguese, Russian, Vietnamese, Arabic, and Chinese (Mandarin). PCG’s translation feature is integrated into the familiar process of drafting/finalizing documents in EasyIEP, making the need for user training minimal. PCG will provide user guides demonstrating the translation tool. o With respect to the Google Translate API that is used to power translation, the accuracy of any translation is exclusively determined by Google Translate and is provided ‘as is’ from PCG to SBBC. SBBC is instructed to visit Google’s Cloud Translation website at xxx.xxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx for Google’s Terms of Service, which govern all use of Google Translate. In addition, EDPlan will provide the following disclaimer to the EDPlan site, which will govern all use of the Translation Feature: THIS SERVICE MAY CONTAIN TRANSLATIONS POWERED BY GOOGLE. GOOGLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES RELATED TO THE TRANSLATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. o PCG disclaims all warranties, makes no representations, and assumes no liability for the accuracy of the translation provided by the Google Translation API. o PCG will include a footer on every translated page, in the translated language, containing the following disclaimer: “It is the District’s intention to provide an accurate translation of this document. For all regulatory, audit and legal purposes, the English document is the only official document. Should any dispute arise over the contents of this document, the only document that shall be considered legally binding shall be the English version.”
