Effect of Absence on Seniority. If an employee’s absence without pay, including absences under Article 14, Leaves of Absence, exceeds thirty (30) continuous calendar days she will not accumulate seniority or service for any purposes under the Collective Agreement for the period of the absence in excess of thirty (30) continuous calendar days except as otherwise provided for in this article.
