EFFECT OF CHANGE OF SALARY. RANGE UPON COMPENSATION‌ Whenever the salary range of a classification is adjusted upward, the salary rate of each employee in the classification shall be adjusted to the step in the new range which corresponds to the step received in the former range, and the employee shall retain the current anniversary date for further increases within the new range.
