Common use of EFFECTIVE DATE AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

EFFECTIVE DATE AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT. (a) This Agreement shall become effective upon the Date of Issue. Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, this Agreement and the terms and provisions herein, shall remain in full force and effect in their entirety from the date of Issue throughout the Term. Upon the expiration of the Term, this Agreement shall terminate, and the provisions and terms of this Agreement shall become unenforceable and of no effect, except as specifically provided otherwise by Section 5.1(b). (b) Any other provision of this Agreement notwithstanding, the provisions of Sections 2.1, 2.2, 5.2(b)(i), 5.8, 7.6, 9.6 and Article X of this Agreement shall survive any expiration or termination of this Agreement, and such provisions shall remain effective and enforceable with respect to any party according to their terms subsequent to any such termination or expiration of the remainder of this Agreement.
