Dues Check. Off During the term of this Agreement, the Company agrees to deduct monthly, an amount equal to the dues as levied by the Union for each pay period (weekly, or semi-monthly, etc.). The amount of regular Union dues to be deducted shall be furnished to the Employer by the Union. The deducted dues shall be remitted to the Union no later than the fifteenth (15th) day of each month following the month in which the deductions are made with a statement showing the names of the employees from whom deductions have been made and the amount deducted. The amount of dues to be deducted may be amended by the Union upon giving the Company fourteen (14)-calendar day’s written notice. The new deductions will take effect on the payday in the next week following the expiry of such notice. The Company shall provide the Union with a monthly computer disk detailing the following information: Employee name, address and employment status; Gender; Classification, salary and date of hire; The amount of gross dues deducted for each employee, any employee who has left or joined the Company since the last payment, including the name of any employee going on or returning from child care leave or any type of leave of absence as defined by this collective agreement. Dues Check. Off The Union may secure authorization for payroll deduction for Union dues. Such authorization may be revocable as provided by law. The Committee will request the Treasurer of the City of Amesbury to submit such sums to the Union Treasurer no later than ten (10) days after such deduction is made. 3.01 The City agrees to deduct once each pay period, the Union Dues of said employees who individually and voluntarily certify in writing on the prescribed Due Permit form (Appendix A), that they authorize such deductions. No authorization shall be allowed for payment of initiation fee, assessment, political party or political action contributions or fines. The Secretary of the Union will notify the City of any subsequent change in the amount of the Dues to be deducted, and will so certify. Any change in the amount of the Union's dues would be effective in a time reasonable to allow the City to make the necessary technical and administrative payroll changes and program adjustments.
3.02 The City will deduct a monthly amount of $5.00 to cover administrative costs associated with Union dues' collection and remittance to the Union Treasurer.
3.03 The Union will indemnify, defend, and hold the City harmless against any claims made and against any suit instituted against the City on account of check-off of Union dues.
3.04 Any employee may withdraw his membership in the Union upon written request and thirty (30) days' notice to the City and Union. 4:01 No member shall be required to join the Association as a condition of employment. The University shall deduct dues once every pay period from the salary of each member of the bargaining unit. It is also agreed to exclude those members appointed in accordance with Senate Bylaws as Acting Executive Xxxx, Acting Associate Executive Xxxx, Acting Assistant Executive Xxxx, Acting Administrative Xxxx of Student and Academic Services and Registrar, Acting Xxxx, Acting Associate Xxxx, or Acting Assistant Xxxx, and those members appointed in accordance with this Agreement as Acting University Librarian, Acting Associate Librarian, or Acting Law Librarian, during the period of such appointment, from payment of dues or other assessments for general Association purposes uniformly and regularly payable by a member of the Association authorized in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association and certified in writing to the University by the Association. In the case of new members of the bargaining unit, dues shall be deducted no later than thirty (30) days after the date of the bargaining unit member’s appointment or re-entry into the bargaining unit.
4:02 The amount of dues or other assessments deducted under clause 4:Ol shall be remitted to the Association by the fifteenth (15th) and the last day of the current month in which the deductions are made. The University shall make available, monthly, to the Association, a list stating the name, rank, status (e.g., limited term appointment, regular full-time, tenured), amount of dues deducted, AAU, (in the case of multi-disciplinary AAUs, the member’s location within the AAU) and date of initial appointment of each member within the bargaining unit. The University shall with the list aforesaid provide the total number of bargaining unit members in each rank and the names of all members who have ceased to be employees of the University.
4:03 At the time that Income Tax T4 slips are provided to each member by the University, the University shall indicate on the T4 slips or separately in writing to each member, the deductions from his/her salary under this Article 4. The University undertakes to continue to deduct contributions to the Faculty Association Scholarship Fund from the salaries of members who so authorize the University to do so in writing and to remit the amounts so deducted to the Association on a monthly basis with a list of names of the contributors and the amount of authorized deductio...

Dues Check. Off The Employer shall deduct from the pay of each employee covered by this Agreement, an hourly local working assessment of .0275% (rounded to the nearest nickel) of their total gross package for each hour paid. The assessment will be collected weekly and paid monthly to the Plasterers Xxxxx #00, Xxxx 000, xx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx on remitting forms supplied by the Union.

6:01 The Employer agrees to deduct from each employee coming within the scope of this Agreement, Union initiation fees, dues and assessments legally levied and in the amount communicated to the Employer by the Union from time to time, only up to an amount of wages that are due to an employee.
6:02 Deductions will be made from the first earned pay period in each month and remitted to the Financial Secretary of the Union by the end of the applicable month. The remittance shall include a list of the employees, showing their respective deductions, new employees, terminations and those on compensation.
6:03 New employees, after having worked five (5) working days, shall be made liable for the required deductions. If deduction is not made from an employee for any reason, deduction for that month will be made from a subsequent pay cheque and forwarded with the next remittance.
6:04 The Employer agrees that if signed authorizations are deemed required to make such deductions, the Employer will obtain them. The Union will supply such forms upon request.
