Major version releases are indicated by a change in the first number of the version’s numerical value (i.e., from 4.1.0 to 5.0 indicating a MAJOR version change). Eligible customers can download the major version releases in the Customer Portal. Care should be taken to follow instructions for updates (i.e., backing up any databases prior to updating as indicated in the release notes, blog or instructions for upgrading to major version releases). Minor Releases (Updates) Minor releases or updates are updates, bug fixes, feature enhancements or improvements, or other data relating to the Software (collectively, “updates”). Updates are made available at no additional charge to customers who have the right to use the Software. Minor releases are assigned unique version numbers (i.e., 4.1.2 and 4.1.3, etc.). All updates must be installed by the end-user via the download link in the Customer Portal. You understand that if you choose not to install the update, the Software may not perform properly.
