Minor Releases definition

Minor Releases mean minor modifications or improvements to the Software, cumulative bug fixes from Maintenance Releases since the last Minor Release and new bug fixes, as applicable, that: (i) are designated by a change in the second set of digits of the version release number (e.g., v5.00 to v5.01); and (ii) are generally made available by Palo Alto Networks to its customers under valid support contracts at no additional cost.
Minor Releases means any modification or addition to NICE’s proprietary Software that, in NICE’s opinion, results in minor changes to the overall utility or functional capability of the Software and may contain Error corrections. Minor Releases are represented by a change to the right of the decimal point in the version number of the particular Software (e.g., v1.0 to v1.1). For the avoidance of doubt, the fees for professional Services required to implement new Minor Release not required to correct an Error are not included in the Maintenance Services fees.
Minor Releases. (x.Y.z) means Software releases that deliver minor feature developments, enhancements to existing features and Error corrections. They incorporate all applicable Error corrections made in prior Minor Releases and Maintenance Releases. For Hortonworks Products, Hortonworks typically has two Minor Releases per year.

Examples of Minor Releases in a sentence

  • Maintenance and support contracts (Exhibit B) are not offered with academic licenses; however, academic licenses are entitled to receive Minor Releases and Technical Releases corresponding to their currently licensed Major Release.

  • Minor Releases will be supported a minimum of twelve (12) months from the general availability of the Minor Release.

More Definitions of Minor Releases

Minor Releases means software that has been produced to correct deficiencies or failures in, or to improve the use of, the Licensed Software or any part of it, but excluding new versions of the Licensed Software or any part of it produced to extend, alter or improve the Licensed Software (as applicable) or any part of it by incorporating new functionality.
