Eligibility 21. 201 Unit members whose regular or temporary assignment is half-time or more shall be eligible to enroll. 21.202 Once a unit member is eligible, he/she remains eligible for the enrollment year of the contract for the plan; i.e., 7/1 through 6/30. 21.203 Half-time shall be fifty percent (50%) of the full-time regular or temporary position to which the unit member is assigned. No unit member working less than twenty (20) hours a week shall be eligible. 21.204 Unit members hired after June 30, 2006 (including STRS certificated disability recipients) are eligible for retirement health and hospitalization plans under this section provided they have at least fifteen years (15) of service with Elk Grove Unified School District (at not less than 20 hours per week). Those unit members hired prior to July 1, 2006 must have at least 120 or more months of service to qualify for retirement benefits. Retirees/recipients must be actively drawing retirement or disability benefits from the State Teachers’ Retirement System. Such retirees/ recipients shall have met the eligibility requirements during their active employment. Eligibility shall be modified upon the receipt of state or federal health and hospitalization coverage; i.e., enrollment in Part A and B of Medicare.

The employee must designate in writing which of the plan(s) he/she wishes to continue and must pay the full amount of the monthly premium in advance of each month of desired coverage. 21.206 Spouse and dependent eligibility will cease upon the death of an employee.

  • Eligibility It will notify the Issuer and the Servicer promptly if it no longer meets the eligibility requirements in Section 5.1.

  • General Eligibility i. Except as provided in paragraph 2 (a)(ii) below, a teacher who received an evaluation rating of needs improvement or ineffective in the prior school year is not eligible for any salary increase and remains at their prior year salary. ii. A teacher who is in the first two full school years of instructing students who receives an evaluation rating of improvement necessary is eligible for salary increase.

  • Program Eligibility The COUNTY shall provide eligibility determination for those persons applying for home repair under this Agreement by using the following factors: 1. The applicant is a resident of the CITY; and 2. The total income for all members of the applicant’s household does not exceed 80% of the median income of the Kansas City metropolitan area, as determined by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; and 3. The applicant is the homeowner and must have occupied the property as a primary residence for at least six (6) months; 4. The property to be repaired is within the corporate limits of the CITY; and 5. When required, medical need will be substantiated and documented.

  • Student Eligibility The LEA and POSTSECONDARY INSTITUTION shall qualify and advise candidates for dual credit from the pool of eligible high school students. A candidate for dual credit is eligible for consideration for fall, spring, and summer semesters if he or she: a. is enrolled during the fall and spring in a LEA in one-half or more of the minimum course requirements approved by PED for public school students under its jurisdiction or by being in physical attendance at a bureau of Indian education-funded high school at least three documented contact hours per day pursuant to 25 CFR 39.211(c); b. obtains permission from the LEA representative (in consultation with the student’s individualized education program team, as needed), the student’s parent or guardian if the student is under 18 years old, and POSTSECONDARY INSTITUTION representative prior to enrolling in a dual credit course; and c. meets POSTSECONDARY INSTITUTION requirements to enroll as a dual credit student.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.
