Eligibility for Early Resignation/Retirement. Any teacher/ancillary staff in the Coopersville Area Public Schools may choose early resignation/retirement subject to the following qualifications, elimination of current language phased out over the three years of this contract. In year 1 (2022-2023), current language applies. In year 2 (2023-2024), current language applies, but only for two employees. In year 3 (2024-2025), current language is eliminated. Beginning in 2024-2025, eligible employees that notify the district of their retirement/resignation on or before March 1st will receive $2,500 to be either placed in a 403(b) or cash pay-out less the required withholding.
