Resignation and Retirement. Any Trustee may resign his trust or retire as a Trustee, by written instrument signed by him and delivered to the other Trustees or to any officer of the Trust, and such resignation or retirement shall take effect upon such delivery or upon such later date as is specified in such instrument.

Resignation and Retirement. A faculty member who intends to resign or retire shall give at least six (6) months' prior notice in writing to the President or delegate. This provision may be waived or the date altered by mutual agreement in writing between the faculty member and the College. The actual date of resignation or retirement for instructional faculty will be based on completion of teaching assignments and the associated non- instructional duty time.

Lecturers should keep the University informed of the progress of arrangements for other employment and submit a formal resignation as early as possible in order to ensure an orderly transition. 15.4.3 Lecturers shall provide a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days to the UNH Office of Human Resources in order to indicate an intent to retire from the University. The lecturer will receive counseling regarding various benefit programs associated with applicable retirement programs sponsored by the University to insure a smooth transition from active employment to retirement status during the one hundred and twenty (120) days.
