Common use of Eligibility For Posted Job Vacancies Clause in Contracts

Eligibility For Posted Job Vacancies. (a) All employees who have completed their probationary period shall be eligible to apply and be considered for any posted job vacancy. (b) All regular employees who are laid off and who are eligible for recall pursuant to this Agreement shall be eligible to apply and be considered for any posted job vacancy during their period of recall. (c) A late applicant due to sickness, vacation or other authorized leave of absence will be considered for any posted job vacancy, provided such employee’s application is received by the Employer before any other person has been informed of being the successful candidate for the vacant position.
