EMBANKMENT WIDENING. The minimum embankment widening is:  2 feet for embankment heights at centerline of 2 to 6 feet.  4 feet for embankment heights at centerline of greater than 6 feet. Purchaser shall apply embankment widening equally to both sides of the road to achieve the required width.

SUBSECTION WASTE MATERIAL (DIRT) 4-35 WASTE MATERIAL DEFINITION Waste material is defined as all dirt, rock, mud, or related material that is extraneous or unsuitable for construction material. Waste material, as used in Section 4 EXCAVATION, is not organic debris.

  • CURVE WIDENING The minimum widening placed on the inside of curves is:  6 feet for curves of 50 to 79 feet radius.  4 feet for curves of 80 to 100 feet radius.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.
