Summer Session. A Summer Session course is a course taught during the period between the spring and fall semesters but does not include courses taught in the May to June Special Session which constitute a program requirement and does not include courses which are assigned as part of a regular faculty member’s workload under Article 10.2.1.2.2. Such approval shall not be unreasonably refused. All professional development and vacation time that would have been applicable in the summer session shall be deemed to have been taken by the faculty member.

The decision of the Xxxx and the Federation President, or designee, is final and binding and is not subject to the grievance procedure.
