Common use of Embargo Clause in Contracts

Embargo. 3.1 In order to protect the integrity of each state’s assessment process, Embargoed Periods apply to some of the assessments. As stated on the website and Brochure/Order Form, specific assessments cannot be returned to students before the end of the term in which it was undertaken. You may indicate the results to students and/or dedicate class time to working through student responses but do not allow students to retain their work until the term has concluded. The dates for the end of the Embargoed period are listed on the website and Brochure/Order Forms. We advise that you use a variety of assessment tasks from one year to the next to further enhance the integrity of your assessment program.
