Emergency Callback. For purposes of this Agreement, emergency callback overtime shall be defined as overtime required due to response to an emergency incident alarm, including, but not limited to, working incidents, natural or manmade disasters, and civil disorders where less than twelve (12) hours’ notice of the callback has been provided to the employee. Emergency Callback overtime may also be required to maintain staffing levels and shall not be counted on the overtime list and is subject to a two (2) hour minimum.

Emergency Callback. All hours worked outside an employee's regular full-time schedule shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay. Employees who are called back to work, for an emergency, when off duty and who report to work no later than forty-five (45) minutes after they have been notified to report to work shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times that of the employee’s regular rate of pay. Employees who are called back for administrative work when off duty and report when required shall be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) hours pay at the rate of one and one-half (1- ½) times that of the employee’s regular rate of pay. Fire/Arson Investigators who are called in when off duty for an investigation shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the rate of one and one-half (1- ½) times that of the employee’s regular rate of pay. This time cannot overlap when an investigator responds to multiple call outs in a four (4) hour period.
Emergency Callback. When recalled an employee will complete the work for which he/she was recalled and he/she shall be expected to attend to any other emergency which might arise.
Emergency Callback. Emergency callback occurs if an employee voluntarily reports for duty in order to respond to Department related emergency responses. Examples are fires, mutual aid calls, and emergency medical service (EMS) responses.
Emergency Callback. An employee who has completed their shift, has left the work site, and is then called back to work, will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. If an employee is called back but is able to address the issue remotely, they will be paid a minimum of one hour at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. Emergency Callback. 1. A minimum of two (2) hours will be paid for each emergency callback for those members who arrive at the requested location within a two (2)-hour period immediately following the callback. 2. On partial callback an Officer, Engineer (certified or relief driver), and Fire Fighter, or combination consisting of a three (3) person engine and/or truck company will be called to staff remaining engine and/or truck as required. 3. Members at an emergency even though callback has not been made, will be considered to be on duty. Example: A member off-duty handles a car fire or a residential rescue by virtue of being coincidentally first on the scene.
Emergency Callback. An “emergency callback” is a service request or other request for service placed outside of normal working hours and of such a nature that response cannot wait for the resumption of the next day’s normal working hours. See H.4

Emergency Callback. Police Commanders shall be eligible for emergency callback overtime. Emergency callback overtime shall be compensated at time and one-half (1½), up to a maximum of ten (10) hours or ten (10) hours and forty (40) minutes (depending on assigned schedule) per incident, subject to a minimum overtime callback of two (2) hours (three hours compensation).
Emergency Callback. During emergency events requiring additional personnel beyond those assigned to the on-duty shift, positions shall be filled with the first available qualified personnel (which may include a geographic based request), except that, if the City has at least 4 hours’ notice that additional personnel will be required, the standard call-back procedure will be used. Resource requests that require special training, licensure, or certification are exempt from this understanding; however, personnel on the appropriate “position lists” will be given equal opportunity for deployment.
Emergency Callback. Overtime for emergency callbacks will include 1 hour 30 minutes, at the rate of time and one half the regular hourly wage, for "response time". Overtime after arrival at station or assignment will be paid in 30 minute increments at time and one half.
