Emergency Calls for Call Back Services. A supervisor or manager shall respond to emergency telephone calls within fifteen (15) minutes of the call being placed. All actions required to resolve onsite emergencies shall be completed within two (2) hours and shall be charged at the "Extra Cleaning Services" rate submitted by the Contractor on the Pricing pages of this ITB. Emergency calls are defined as those where the Technical Representative or designee states an emergency exists and notifies the Contractor’s office of such emergency. The Contractor shall have the capability to make calls of an emergency/safety nature involving patron conduct twenty-four (24) hours a day. The Contractor, upon observing any plumbing stoppages, leaking faucet, or electrical malfunctions shall immediately contact Work Control (Station 38) by phone at (000) 000-0000. The Contractor shall also submit an incident report to the Technical Representative within twenty-four (24) hours.

Emergency calls are defined as those where the Contract Administrator, or designee, states an emergency exists and notifies the Contractor’s office of such emergency. Failure to take appropriate corrective action for emergencies within the time frame may result in termination of the Contract.

  • Emergency Call Back Emergency Call Back is defined as those instances when unit members have not been placed on-call, but are contacted to return to their work location or to perform work on short notice during an off-duty period. Non-exempt employees shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the appropriate rate of pay on each non- work day they are called back. Exempt employees shall receive compensatory time on an hour-for-hour basis at not less than four (4) hours for call back work. In the event employees are required to report to work, both exempt and non-exempt employees shall be paid for mileage incurred in reporting to and returning from work for call back duties. If the call-back duties require work in excess of the four (4)-hour minimum, the employee shall be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay for the actual number of hours worked. If the call back duties occur during a week in which the District is closed as the result of a recognized holiday, the holiday hours shall count as hours worked for the purposes of computing overtime compensation for non-exempt employees pursuant to the provisions of this section.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.
