Common use of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Clause in Contracts

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Employees who are state licensed as an EMT shall receive an allowance of $250 the last pay in July and the last pay in January for each full month the license is valid. The July payment will cover the months of January through June and the January payment will cover the months of July through December. Any overpayment will be deducted from the first possible subsequent paycheck. Employees who are receiving this allowance are required to respond during medical emergencies, consistent with their level of training.
