Common use of Emergency Volunteer Service Clause in Contracts

Emergency Volunteer Service. In the event that an employee is a participant in any volunteer emergency service (i.e., fire protection, ambulance service, etc.) and is called out during normal working hours, s/he shall receive total compensation and shall remain in full employment status while performing this volunteer service for the period that s/he would have been working for the County.
