Common use of EMERGENCY WAIVER Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY WAIVER. A. In the event an emergency is proclaimed by the City Manager as set forth by the Codified Ordinances, the Chief of the Division may, after the declaration of an emergency, make such work assignments within the recognizable scope of Fire Division skills, as he deems necessary, without regard to employee classifications, overtime limitations, or seniority. B. Upon termination of the emergency, grievances that occurred during the emergency will be processed in accordance with provisions outlined in the Grievance Procedure in Article 22. This will include the declaration of the emergency itself.
