UNAUTHORIZED LEAVE / ABANDONMENT OF POSITION. 1. A unit employee absent without authorization for three (3) or more consecutive work shifts, and who fails to contact Management to provide justification for the absence, shall be considered to have abandoned his/her position and resigned from City employment as of the third shift of absence.
UNAUTHORIZED LEAVE / ABANDONMENT OF POSITION. 17.12.1 Absence of a member of the bargaining unit, whether voluntary or involuntary, for three (3) consecutive working days without notification to the appropriate management person, shall be deemed to be an automatic resignation from CHARTER SCHOOL employment as of the last date on which the member worked and the member's position may be declared vacant.
