Employee Contribution for Employees. Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall pay the employee's contribution to the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System in the amount of six (6) percent of the employee's base salary, for those who are qualified for PERS, in addition to the required Employer contributions for current employees active on the payroll. Employer will also provide an opportunity for all AFSCME represented employees to cash out vacation accruals up to 80 hours by December 31, 2021, provided employees retain a minimum 40 hours of vacation accruals in their leave banks.
