Common use of Employee Leaving During the Notice Period Clause in Contracts

Employee Leaving During the Notice Period. If the employment of a teacher is terminated (other than for misconduct) before the notice period given by the School expires, the teacher shall be entitled to the same benefits and payments under this part had the teacher remained with the school until the expiry of such notice. However, in such circumstances the teacher shall not be entitled to payment in lieu of notice. If the teacher decides to leave earlier than the date the notice period given by the School expires, the teacher must give at least the notice required for resignation by a teacher.
