Employee Status After Test. Following a drug test for reasonable suspicion, accident or injury, the employee cannot return to work until the City receives and reviews the results of the drug test. If the test is negative, the employee shall receive regular salary for hours of work lost. Job applicants and employees have the right to consult the testing laboratory for technical information regarding prescription and non-prescription medication.
