Employee’s Responsibilities. 6.1 The Corporation and the employees of the Town of Whitby, to the best of their ability, have an obligation within their defined roles, to provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens. 6.2 It is agreed that non-Union employees will not regularly perform duties normally carried out by members of the bargaining unit except in cases mutually agreed upon by the Corporation and the Union or in the event of an emergency.
