After a grievance has been initiated, the Employer shall not initiate negotiations with the aggrieved employee with respect to the grievance, either directly or indirectly, without the consent or presence of a Xxxxxxx or Chief Xxxxxxx. Once initiated the grievance shall be the property of the Union.
