Employment of Long-Term Substitutes. 1. The term "long-term substitute" is intended to cover substitutes who have been employed for more than ninety (90) school days in a single teaching assignment. Long-term substitute service may count toward step advancement on the salary schedule if the employee holds a valid license to the area/discipline of teaching.
