The Employer and the Union agree that it is a worthy goal to offer employment to persons with disabilities on the recommendation of the Xxxxxx River Association for Community Living, Career Link and the Model Community Project, or other similar organizations, provided no regular employees suffer a reduction in their normal and regular hours of work, or have their normal straight-time pay reduced by the hiring of these persons. The parties shall develop the particular terms and conditions that are to apply, on a case-by-case basis, when persons with disabilities are to be offered employment, it being understood that the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement will not generally apply in such situations.
