Regular Employees. Service credit shall be the period of employment with the Company and any service restored as per Part A, Item 5.3.
Regular Employees. A regular employee is an employee who has either served the required probationary term or has previously been employed in one of the other categories and has satisfactorily met the job requirements. The employee occupies a position that is considered part of the ongoing organization of OPG.
Regular Employees. A regular employee is an employee who has been in the employ of the Employer for a period of over thirty (30) calendar days and shall be entitled to all benefits under the terms of this Agreement, except as otherwise specified in this Agreement.
Regular Employees. Regular employees are those whose employment is reasonably expected to continue for longer than twelve (12) months. A regular employee may be either full-time or part-time.
Regular Employees. A Regular Employee is an employee who has successfully completed his/her probationary period.
Regular Employees. New employees who are employed for a regular position shall receive the following salary recognition for relevant nursing experience as determined by the Employer, provided not more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained:
One (1) annual increment for every one (1) year's experience. Any time spent in an education program mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Union shall not be counted as experience but shall not constitute a break in service.
Regular Employees. All regular employees must participate in the Flexible Benefits Plan and the Disability Income Plans. Eligibility to participate occurs with the commencement of employment as a regular employee. For a regular employee a Benefit Year is defined as that period commencing on August 1 and ending on the succeeding July 31.
Regular Employees. Where a new employee who does not qualify for portability of benefits under Article 51 is employed for a regular position, salary recognition as follows shall be granted for relevant nursing experience as determined by the Employer, provided not more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained:
One (1) annual increment for every one (1) year’s experience. Where more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained, salary recognition shall be granted as follows:
(1) annual increment for every one (1) year’s experience minus one (1) increment for each year in excess of two (2) years to a maximum of a five (5) year lapse. If more than five (5) years have lapsed, there shall be no credit for previous experience. Any time spent in an education program mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Union shall not be counted as experience but shall not constitute a break in service.

A casual employee who terminates with an Employer as defined in Article 1.02 - Definitions, and is employed within one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days as a regular employee with another Employer who is covered by this Collective Agreement shall retain the increment step attained with the previous Employer. The employee’s first day of employment with the new Employer becomes her increment anniversary date.
Regular Employees. 7.5.1.1 Except as otherwise noted in this Agreement, all regular employees shall be paid an annual salary determined by their duty load in the academic year and in accordance with 2.1.2, 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 and the appropriate section or hourly rate (7.3 and 7.3A). The salary shall be paid in equal installments at each calendar month end. Where the duty load changes during an academic year, the monthly salary for those months remaining in the academic year each shall be an equal installment of the then revised annual entitlement still owing.
7.5.1.2 Regular employees who start and/or terminate their appointment during the academic year will have their total remuneration pro-rated on the basis of their completed duty load.
