Employment of Relatives The School and its employees shall comply with state law prohibiting the employment of relatives which prohibits the appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, or the advocacy for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement in or to a position in the charter school in which the personnel are serving or over which the personnel exercises jurisdiction or control of an individual who is a relative.
Employment Relations Education Leave 26.1 The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace. FTE eligible employees as at 1 March each year Maximum number of days of employment relations education leave that we are entitled to allocate as a union 6 – 50 5 51 – 280 1 day for every 8 FTE eligible employees or part of that number 281 or more 35 days plus 5 days for every 100 FTE eligible employees or part of that number that exceeds 280
Engagement of Employees 8.1.1 All prospective Employees may be required to complete an Application for Employment form prior to engagement. Applicants may be required to undertake a pre-employment physical/medical assessment, the cost of which will be borne by the Company. Any Employee who knowingly provides false information in their application or in the medical may be dismissed.
Statement of Employment An employer shall, in the event of termination of employment, provide upon request to the employee who has been terminated a written statement specifying the period of employment and the classification or type of work performed by the employee.
Employment of Consultant CONSULTANT will perform as an independent contractor all services under this Contract to the prevailing professional standards consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of its profession, both public and private, currently practicing in the same locality under similar conditions, including reasonable, informed judgments and prompt, timely action. If CONSULTANT is representing that it has special expertise in one or more areas to be utilized in this Contract, then CONSULTANT agrees to perform those special expertise services to the appropriate local, regional or national professional standards.
Employment of Consultants Part A General Consultants’ services shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Introduction and Section IV of the “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers” published by the Bank in January 1997 and revised in September 1997 and January 1999 (the Consultant Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section II of this Schedule. Continuity of Employment This Option shall not be exercisable by the Grantee in any part unless at all times beginning with the date of grant and ending no more than three (3) months prior to the date of exercise, the Grantee has, except for military service leave, sick leave or other bona fide leave of absence (such as temporary employment by the United States Government) been in the continuous employ of the Company or a parent or subsidiary thereof, except that such period of three (3) months shall be one (1) year following any termination of the Grantee's employment by reason of his permanent and total disability.
Employment and Compensation The following terms and conditions will govern the Executive’s employment with the Company throughout the Term.
Commencement of Employment 2.1 The Employment will start on 28 April 2003 (the “Commencement Date”). The Employment will continue until termination in accordance with the provisions of this agreement.
Employment of Consultants In order to assist the Borrower in carrying out the Project, the Borrower shall employ consultants whose qualifications, experience and terms and conditions of employment shall be satisfactory to the Association. Such consultants shall be selected in accordance with principles and procedures satisfactory to the Association on the basis of the "Guidelines for the Use of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers and by the World Bank as Executing Agency" published by the Bank in August 1981.
