Common use of EMT Certification Clause in Contracts

EMT Certification. The City and the Union recognize the need to have highly trained employees to operate the City’s rescue equipment and to respond to medical emergencies. To this end, the City and the Union agree as follows: Emergency Medical Technician-B (EMT-B) certification shall be the mandatory minimum level of certification required for all positions in the bargaining unit.
