Energy intensity – Smart City concept. The Czech Republic is among the countries with an above-average energy intensity of the economy in the EU-27113. On the side of the energy consumption and the accompanying pollution, it is therefore useful to solve this issue conceptually through the concept of “SmartCity” (see the SET Plan of EC), interconnected energy saving measures at the municipal level. The urbanization rate in the Czech Republic is 73%114, so majority of people is negatively influenced. Development needs:  Support for the measures leading to energy savings and use of renewable energy in buildings (private, public and commercial).  Support for energy-saving and environmentally friendly infrastructure managed or owned by municipalities, e.g. energy savings and utilization of waste heat and biogas from all municipal operations (e.g. wastewater treatment and waste management), construction of renewable energy sources and support to alternative types of transport in terms of reducing emissions in extremely polluted areas.  Maintaining and enhancing the ecological functions of residential green.

  • One-Way Interconnection Trunks 2.3.1 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from iNetworks to Verizon, iNetworks, at iNetworks’ own expense, shall:

  • Initiating Interconnection 4.1 If Onvoy determines to offer Telephone Exchange Services and to interconnect with Frontier in any LATA in which Frontier also offers Telephone Exchange Services and in which the Parties are not already interconnected pursuant to this Agreement, Onvoy shall provide written notice to Frontier of the need to establish Interconnection in such LATA pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Foreign-Owned Companies in Connection with Critical Infrastructure If Texas Government Code, Section 2274.0102(a)(1) (relating to prohibition on contracts with certain foreign-owned companies in connection with critical infrastructure) is applicable to this Contract, pursuant to Government Code Section 2274.0102, Contractor certifies that neither it nor its parent company, nor any affiliate of Contractor or its parent company, is: (1) majority owned or controlled by citizens or governmental entities of China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or any other country designated by the Governor under Government Code Section 2274.0103, or (2) headquartered in any of those countries.
