ENGAGEMENT IN OTHER ACTIVITIES. (a) Employees cannot accept any professional appointment outside Lincoln University, or engage (directly or indirectly) in any private or commercial activity which conflicts with, or has the potential to conflict with, the employee’s duties pursuant to this agreement, without the written approval of the employer. Where an employee obtains the employer’s approval to engage in other activities, those activities will be dealt with in accordance with the relevant policy and procedure of the employer. Such approval will not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.

  • Other Activities/Renovations A. The Contractor acknowledges its responsibility to assure the Judicial Council’s quiet enjoyment of the Program and to provide the full service level of the Property for the Program, free from outside distractions, disturbances, and/or interruptions.   • Civic Duties An employee who is late for work as a result of duties as a volunteer fire fighter or licensed ambulance attendant or licensed rescue squad attendant, shall be granted use of annual leave and/or accrued compensatory leave to cover the period of lateness, provided that performance of said duties may be verified by the Employer.

  • Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).
