ENTRY FOR EMERGENCIES. An emergency could be defined as an unforeseen combination of circumstances that calls for immediate action. Such things as smoke, unusual odors, flames, water damage, broken windows, heat or power failure, smoke detector alarm sounding and threat to life or property are considered emergencies. Authorized staff may enter the residential premises without consent or notice when they believe an emergency exists. If an emergency happens when the student is not present, the staff will knock on the entrance before using pass keys. Contact attempts will be documented.

ENTRY FOR EMERGENCIES. In the event of an emergency, the City may enter upon the works without notice and take whatever steps are necessary to xxxxx the emergency at the expense of the Owner, and no such entry shall be deemed to be acceptance of any of the works by the City, nor shall it be deemed an assumption by the City of any liability in connection therewith nor a release of the Owner will indemnify the City from all loss, costs, damages and claims which the City may suffer by reason of such entry and the performance of any such works.
ENTRY FOR EMERGENCIES. In case of emergency originating in or threatening any the dwelling unit or the Property, regardless of whether or not the Resident is present at the time of such emergency, the Landlord or Landlord’s Agent shall have the right to enter such dwelling unit and Property for the purpose of remedying or abating the cause of such emergency, and such right of entry shall be immediate, and to facilitate entry in the event of any such emergency, the Landlord, Landlord’s Agent or its designee shall be allowed to retain a key for the dwelling unit.

These services must:  Agree with generally accepted standards of medical practice  Be clinically appropriate in type, frequency, extent, site and duration., They must also be considered effective for the patient’s illness, injury or disease  Not be mostly for the convenience of the patient, physician, or other healthcare provider. They do not cost more than another service or series of services that are at least as likely to produce equivalent therapeutic or diagnostic results for the diagnosis or treatment of that patient’s illness, injury or disease. For these purposes, “generally accepted standards of medical practice” means standards that are based on credible scientific evidence published in peer reviewed medical literature. This published evidence is recognized by the relevant medical community, physician specialty society recommendations and the views of physicians practicing in relevant clinical areas and any other relevant factors. Member Any person covered under this plan. Mental Condition A condition that is listed in the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). This does not include conditions and treatments for chemical dependency. Mental Health Services Medically necessary outpatient and inpatient services provided to treat mental conditions. State and federal law require that the copays and coinsurance for mental health services will be no more than the copays and coinsurance for medical and surgical services. Prescription drugs for mental conditions are covered under the same terms and conditions as other prescription drugs covered under this plan.

  • Leave of Absence for College Committees An employee whose assigned work schedule would prevent her/him from attending meetings of a college committee to which s/he has been elected or appointed, will be granted a leave of absence from her/his regular duties without loss of pay or other entitlements to attend such meeting(s). Where such leave is granted, the employer will replace the employee as necessary. Costs arising from this provision will not be charged against the program area of the participating employee.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION PCA Article B.3 does not apply in School District No. 34 (Abbotsford).

  • Compensation for Employees Employees shall receive compensation at the biweekly or hourly rate for the range and step or flat rate assigned to the class in which they are employed.

  • Leave Without Pay for Relocation of Spouse (a) At the request of an employee, leave without pay for a period of up to one (1) year shall be granted to an employee whose spouse is permanently relocated and up to five (5) years to an employee whose spouse is temporarily relocated.
