Equipment including POCT. The practice will be responsible for the procurement of all equipment and consumables required to provide the NHS Health Check service described in this specification. The practice will ensure all equipment used for the NHS Health Check is: fully functional, used regularly, CE marked, validated, maintained and recalibrated according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This includes height and weight measuring devices, blood pressure monitors and POCT instruments. The practice will report any adverse incidents involving medical equipment to the relevant manufacturer as well as the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), follow their Incident Reporting Policy and process, and manage in accordance with providersgovernance arrangements. An adverse incident is an event that causes, or has the potential to cause, unexpected or unwanted effects involving the accuracy and/or safety of device users (including patients) or other persons. For practices using Point of Care Testing (POCT): The practice is required to adhere to the POCT Standard Operating Procedure 2020 issued by ESCC and ESHT Pathology (issued directly to practices and available from East Sussex NHS Health Checks providers web pages20), the guidance set out in the NHS Health Check programme standards: a framework for quality improvement21, and the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) 2013 guidelines on POCT, and any relevant guidelines issued by equipment manufacturers22. This includes advice on training in its use and ongoing management, troubleshooting, and quality assurance processes that ensure the accuracy and ability to reproduce results. Practices will ensure that an appropriate internal quality control (IQC) checks process is in place. Practices should note that NHS Programme Standards indicate that an appropriate internal quality control (IQC) process for POCT should be delivered in accordance with the MHRA guidelines on POCT, ‘Management and use of IVD point of care test (POCT) devices. It has been determined locally that an appropriate IQC frequency for NHS Health Checks, should take the form of at least a “go/no go" control sample (use of a liquid sample) ONCE MONTHLY. This should be conducted on the third week of every month.   • UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT Uniforms and equipment required by the Department to be worn/used by employees will be furnished by the Department.

  • Safe Equipment The City shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment provided by the City.

  • Equipment and Materials Contractor at its sole cost and expense shall provide and furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation services and any other items (collectively, "Equipment") which are required or necessary to perform the Services in a manner which is consistent with generally accepted standards of the profession for similar services.   • Equipment Procurement If responsibility for construction of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades is to be borne by the Connecting Transmission Owner, then the Connecting Transmission Owner shall commence design of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades and procure necessary equipment as soon as practicable after all of the following conditions are satisfied, unless the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner otherwise agree in writing:

Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.
